Dear Mr Noam Chomsky

Somebody please deliver me from the conformity of white earphones.
Your consumerist hunger is not liberation,
only manufacturing consent.
You continue to consume and consume and consume,
until there is nothing left.
Except a less than humble pursuit,
which is,
having the newest,
shiniest,
most expensive thing.
Because then, everybody will like you.
These items are not the passport to acceptance,
but the guarantee of perception,
that it is really okay to be beige and the same.
So long as you're happy being the same all together.
